Human resources and Environmental Safety Department has organized an environmental safety lesson at the workplace. It is important to establish a physical and psychologically health environment for our clients, employers, and employees. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances such as accident fire and natural disasters do occur in the workplace. It is necessary to create, maintain and practice contingency plans and protocols. In preparation for employees to be ready for unknown circumstances, this lesson will provide an excellent opportunity to better understand emergency protocols.
The key to our lesson is to learn and identify the potential hazard in the workplace and what is best resolution or escape plan. After finishing the lesson, we are keen for our employees to display knowledge of response techniques in creating a plan for workplace emergencies. The employers should be able to determine a healthy environment that inspires client confidence in services provided. The employee is expected to: Discuss and employ procedures necessary to provide emergency aid for workplace accidents. Explore components of a disaster and emergency response plan and use when directed.
After taking the lesson from the help from our fire department guest, our employees learnt the basic knowledge of how to escape from real fire, then practiced how to use an emergency mask during fire. With the supervise of the fireman, employee Zhilong Zeng set up fake smoke to see how well the employees absorbed the knowledge. Later, our office employees learnt how to use the fire extinguisher with real fire set up under supervise.
