Sichuan Provincial Department of Economic and Information Technology and State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company issued a notice on August 14. From 00:00 on August 15 to 24:00 on August 20, Sichuan will start Level 3 power supply control measures to ensure people's livelihood and electricity.

Then on August 20, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economic and Information Technology and the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company extended the warning, requesting all enterprises to continue to provide electricity to the people and reduce enterprise production from 00:00 on August 21 to 24:00 on August 24.

On the first day of receiving the notice, Tianhe Casting group arranged for all workshop staff to rest as required. Technical department and office staff to work from home to reduce the power load. Tianhe casting works as an important link in the auto parts industry chain, providing customers with products such as engine pump body, gearbox cylinder head, intake pipe, etc. After many discussions and meetings, management team agreed that the impact of hot weather will continue to expand, and the power supply during the dry winter season may also be a problem. We must keep the production chain running and provide consistent supply to our customers.

In order to reduce the losses caused by the shutdown and affect the production of customers, Tianhe Casting decided to purchase a generator to ensure emergency production electricity.

After the purchase arrived, our equipment team started working on the installation immediately. If the generator set finally started to operate successfully, nearly 80% of the CNC machines can be operating in the same time.

But the casting blank line was still shut down due to the high loads required to start the melting furnace. In order to ensure the production of casting blanks and meet customer requirements, Tianhe also purchased a Cummins generator, which will arrive in the near future.

On August 16th, after the installation and commissioning of the generator by the master worker, the generator was finally put into use, and the customer's products were also ready to be shipped out soon.
